Sisley Phyto Lip Twist & Phyto Eye Twist Review

Hello girls, how you have been doing??? Today gonna share with you this makeup brand that are pretty new to me, though I heard of it's name but I have never try or swatch their product before...... Let me present to you Sisley Makeup. I remember seeing Sisley in departmental store like Parkson or Metrojaya and honestly I feel Sisley are more known for their fashion rather then cosmetic.... Anyway today we are going to focus only on their Pytho Lip Twist & Phyto Eye Twist.

Phyto Lip Twist is long available since 2014 but recently they have added 6 new summery shades into the twist collection. The new 6 summery shades are 11 Litchi, 12 Melon, 13 Poppy, 10 Sugar & 14 Love.



This Phyto Lip Twist are like any other crayon lipstick, well it's like stick but in a form of crayon for easy application. I fancy the zebra pattern on the packaging which enable easy identification when searching them in my stash as the zebra stripe separates them from other lip crayons or lipsticks that I have in my stash. The only setback I have with crayons is when I always have to worry I will break the lipstick when I placed the cap back in..... I still prefer lipstick over crayon though crayon is easier to draw but generally i like the feeling of applying lipstick over crayon lipstick... Does this make sense? Do you feel this way too? it's just feel more glamorous drawing my lip using lipstick than crayon lipstick.. So here is the full swatches of the lip twist... Sadly the swatch for the new shades is not available :(

I find the formula of this lip twist are really creamy and moisturising to my lip and yet not overly buttery to the point it make my lips greasy and oily...It's the perfect formula for my lip...Just right, however the colour I got is a little too nude to be seen... I might use it as a concealer for my lip or use it for no make up day as it look good for my bare skin! This is how it look on my lips... I am wearing 11 Litchi.

Pretty sheer I will say... I am not sure if other colour will look more opaque on my lip but when swatching I find most of the shade is quite sheer....

Phyto-Eye Twist has 4 new shades this summer which gives a skinny and oversize outline to your eyes...The eye twist is waterproof and rich in pigments. It also contains mother-of-pearl to reflect the light and illuminate the iris. The new shades are 9 Pearl, 10 Amethyst, 11 Copper and 12 Emerald.

I really like the eye twist... It's really great to use when I'm in rush of time; all I need to do is just fill my entire lid with this eye twist and use finger or blending brush to blend it out and the eye is done... How easy and convenient.... The colour is very pigmented and very easy to blend on the eyes... I got the colour 5 Lagoon which is a beautiful turquoise with a little shimmer in it. It's not too much of shimmer so it's still wearable on day time.... Here is all the swatch that I got, again not full colour swatch still....

I match with a purple and brown eyeshadow to tone it down for day look... It turn out really pretty isn't it?  Let me know how you think about this eye look... I wanted the turqoise to be more V-shape instead of triangle but I use the wrong technique.. So maybe next round I'll try to make a V-shape instead of this blended traingle shade... I still like how it turn out though because it gave a sweet smoky effect perfect for a pop of colour this spring.....

HOPP Cafe @ Nadayu 28, Sunway

Hey everyone. It's back to munch time and this time around, we are heading to a cafe. A growing trend of hipster cafe, HOPP Cafe would be ideal for those social media sharing pictures with their wide range menu that might be of interest to some.

Located at Nadayu 28, Sunway which is easily identify from its corner location and bright colour of the logo.

The design and theme is very much in touch of the modern adaptation for natural light and yes, a ideal photo session. The decoration and fittings does brings out positive vibes that might help over a cup of coffee, perhaps.

So without further adieu, lets dig in.

Served on a hot plate, Portobello Mushroom & Deutsch Sausage Paella is a delight of flavours. The dish is combination of oven smoked jumbo Deustch sausage, roasted bell peppers, sweet peas, cafe's unique spice, coriander, garlic oil and the specially imported aroz rice. The evident strong smoke taste of the sausage and blend of the garlic oil brings out the aroma.

Fresh out of the water and into the hot pan is the Fresh Garlic Tiger Prawn, the prawn texture is tangy with the shell removed for convenience. The combination of olive oil infused spice and sweet paprika gives a distinct aroma that might appeal to some though the prawn is drenched in the olive oil which deter some from having it.

We had the Garlic Prawn Pizza. A blend of soft texture on the dough and thin crust that makes every bite crunchy and mouthful. The saturated taste of the garlic butter prawn infused into the the pizza compliments with the topping of tomato couls, parmesan cheese, rocket salad, shimeji mushroom & oregano.

Another in their menu is HOPP Spaghettini Vongole. The light and fresh taste from the combination olive oil, fresh chive and wine which is a good combination that goes well with a glass if you may, A glass of Chardonnay. The clams is surprising tasty and fresh while the shimeji mushroom provides the tangy texture with the pasta. Ideal for the a light and breezy day.

Sharing heritage from Spain is the Malaga Seafood Paella. It's serve with seafood galore of tiger prawn, clam, squid while the spices of roasted peppers & garlic, saffron, shallot,  garlic chili oil, & aroz rice to compliment the blend in taste  which has a tinge of spice.

We had their Roasted Pumpkin Soup which is tad different from the regular. The pumpkin is marinated with Bombay spice and oven roasted to draw the essence. It's serve with garlic butter crouton and their homemade Italian gnocchi. The spice is evident though mild.

English Fish & Chips is also to look out for as the soft texture of the seabass fillet (Yes, they use seabass instead of regular dory fillet to maintain the quality and freshness in taste) envelop in the lightly batter which is fried till outer crust is crispy and served with the fresh garden salad and fries along with their homemade tartar sauce.

Getting a dose of their house mocktails, Sangria. Being zero alcohol Sangria where wine is specially from Middle East to concoct this drink. Hindsight of a punch that makes it comparable to the actually alcohol infused Sangria.

Desserts are something that some might agree which there is room for desserts after a hearty meal and the desserts would certain entice the taste buds.

Erupting from within is the "Warm Chocolate Lava Cake". The cake is said to contain 70% cocoa dark chocolate (Appeals to many chocolate lover out there) with orange ganache and serve white gelato. The soft moist of the composition maintains the warm chocolate within. The taste is balanced and is great for another coffee. They have also a few variants of cakes which is from a known cake house in Singapore that entices many sweet tooth lovers.

Getting a fix for the day with their coffee. Apparently the espresso shot is serve separately with the milk which you can actually pour your own into the cup to form your very own coffee art (Well easy said than done) and also allows you to control the amount of milk.

Pro Hair Dressing Team Salon Deep Layer Moisture Treatment Review

Taking care of my hair has been a important things for me to do on regular basis now.... It's a tragic to go out with hair looking like lion manes... Recently I discover this new salon Pro Hair Dressing Team in Sunway Taipan! The salon has a minimal design but with really cozy and happy vibes!! I just feel good walking into it!

So I am going to share with you this hair treatment I tried at Pro Hair Dressing Team which is called Deep Layer Moisture Treatment.

I tried this deep layer before this and I really really loves it... You can checkout my previous review here. and I am trying it for second time... Honestly, the first time trial was really good but the second time trying the result are even more impressive.... It's been almost 3 weeks now since the treatment and trust me it's really moisturizing to my hair.... I have NEVER, YES never felt the feeling of a virgin hair for yearsss ever since I start dyeing and bleaching my hair. For once, after this treatment, the feeling of virgin hair is back... I kept playing, twisting and combing my hair with my fingers for days because it feel so soft and smooth.... I have no idea how it can be so smooth!!!!!!!! It must have to do with the deep layer formula of the treatment!!!

Beside the powerful deep layer treatment result I must shout out to the Stephen the salon owner as he is really down to earth!!!!! I love chatting with him... I enjoy my entire time at the salon!!

I am not going to repeat the steps involve in the deep layer treatment as it's exactly same with the previous place I did!! You can check them out here. However, I will show a brief description of this treatment in case you girls has no idea at this treatment at all...





Another thing I want to highlight is that I love getting my hair wash in this salon! Their massage is so good and I appreciate salon that wash my hair in front of mirror sitting down rather than on the sink to save time.... Oh I also like that they let me wear a kimino to avoid any chemical or hair product in contact with my cloths... Kimono is so much more convenient and comfy... No need to be clip all the time...

After the treatment my hair remain soft and smooth just like my virgin hair for a month!! I really love how my hair feelss after the treatment..... Look at the hair texture in below picture.... It look so soft and pretty!

Make it Happen with Maybelline

I have been blogging about beauty for years now and I develop love towards makeup since I was in college time... I have no idea why but I just love learning how to put on makeup.... Among my college mate, I guess Im the one who own the most cosmetic at that time.... As time pass, youtube is blooming and thanks to that I get to learn more makeup skill through various beauty gurus and also through blogging, I had the chance to attend various workshop where I get to learn more skills....

I guess I had do makeup for almost 8 years now and I am so proud that my make up skill is being recognized by one of the top makeup artist, Steven Sunny. It's really a big achievement for myself....

At the workshop, in conjuction with Maybeline new tagline "Make it Happen" Steven Sunny emphasize that we women should "Make Beautiful Happen". He also said, that every woman should put on make up even just lipstick or a mascara. It gives some colours and transform the beauty of a woman.

He did a girlish but fierce look for the model...

While he is doing the makeup, he share various makeup tips. As he is sharing tips on how to draw eyeliner he compliments how on point is my eyeliner... He even ask me to stand up to show the crowd how a proper eyeliner should be like..... I am so happy and proud of myself for being able to be recognized by Steven... I feel like this is a big achievement for myself and the fact that I did my own makeup on my wedding day is also something that I am very proud of myself. Look he even mentioned me on his FB & Instagram.

Honestly, I did not expect this at all.... Unbelievable.....I'm in cloud nine the moment he ask me to stand up and show everyone my makeup... Here is the make up I did that day...

Honestly, that Saturday I woke up and feeling like I wanna do a full makeup... So I put on a casual outfit but I focus on the strong eye colour with ombre lip.... Off I go to the makeup workshop by Steven Sunny in Midvalley. I did not put on much thought or expect that anyone would even pay attention to me at all.... Like what Steven said, makeup depends on mood.... If you are feeling happy then just put on a colourful makeup or if you are angry just put on a angry makeup...

Fashion always caught my attention and I enjoy watching any show or competion related to Fashion. Last week I have a chance to see in person a number of young designer presenting their design mood board to compete to be the Top 10 designer where Top 3 winner will be representing Malaysia at the prestigious runway of KL Fashion Week Ready to Wear 2016.

These Top 3 designer will stand a chance to walk away as ‘AirAsia’s Most Promising Young Designer 2016’ and prizes worth at least RM350,000 including a confirmed show segment to showcase his or her full collection at KLFW RTW 2017; mentorship from the KLFW RTW team; RM25,000 sponsored by FashionValet to produce a capsule collection and sold on fashionvalet.com; 150,000 AirAsia BIG Points sponsored by AirAsia BIG, AirAsia or AirAsia X flights, and more prizes to be revealed soon.

The Top 10 were selected from a total of 487 online submissions who turned up for the Malaysian leg

of the Asean-wide designer search auditions held today in JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. The auditions

will continue in Singapore and Bangkok subsequently to look for top young designers to represent

each country.

The panel of judges consists of Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad; Andrew

Tan, Founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear; Vivy Yusof, Founder of FashionValet;

Alia Bastamam, Fashion Designer; and Suzie Adnan, Editor-in-Chief of GLAM Malaysia.

It's truly eye opening to see so many creative designer as they share their inspiration originated from buildings, traditional clothing and even local delicacies...

This designer were inspired by a building structure... I find she lack of confidence and is a bit too nervous.. 

The judges not only look at the creative design but also take into consideration if the design is practical to be able to sell to client and also how the designer present it.

Ms. Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad said, “AirAsia has always been

devoted to support the talents of tomorrow and with that in mind, we have expanded this year’s

search to 5 Asean countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines in

search for the Top 3 young designers to represent each country.” 

“Since the establishment of AARRDS in 2015, we are impressed with not only the growing number of submissions that came in online, but also with the quality of vision displayed in their sketches which continues to highlight the level of talent in the Asean region. It was not easy for us to narrow down to the Top 10 Malaysian finalists today, therefore we will deliberate further and shortlist the Top 3 finalists next month who will compete at the Grand Finale this August.”

Also this designer using nasi lemak elements in his design including looking for material that replicate the banana leaf and also the nasi lemak brown wrapping paper. I am impressed with his creativity!

Then this were inspired by Kuih Lapis... The vibrant colour must be one of the reason the judges pick him as Top 10!!

This guy were taking ideas from KLCC...Using material like mesh and metal alike fabric in his design... He has a very well thought for his design both in the design as well as practicality.. He make his clothing in a way that it can be purchase individually instead of a whole set.... Perfect for ready wear collection!
